Love Island's Gemma Owen says she's not ready to leave family home and move in with Luca

Gemma Owen may be head over heels with Luca Bish – but she's not ready to leave the family's home in Mold, North Wales, just yet.

The star who found national fame on Love Island earlier this year has quickly become a hot topic with many following her every move, especially her relationship.

Since leaving the famous ITV villa in Majorca, Gemma's boyfriend Luca has met her famous dad, Michael Owen, her mum Louise and siblings and also enjoyed a family holiday with them.

But while their romance might be blossoming, the dressage rider admits that she's not quite ready to move in with her other half.

Speaking to the Mail Online, the 19-year-old said: "We don't have any plans to move into together just yet, I'm a home girl, it's where everything is, I'm family orientated and I'm still young.

"In the immediate future I'm happy with where I am, and the setup Luca and I have.

"We are everywhere right now, when I'm down in London working, we spend time with each other and when we have a free weekend, he'll join me in Cheshire and be with the horses. We're making it work around our busy schedules."

She went on to explain that they're "seeing how it goes" but will enjoy a string of holidays together in the near future.

The news comes after their fellow Islanders Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page made the decision to move in together after the real estate agent claimed he was homeless since leaving Dubai.

While the couple may have won one another hearts in the villa, Gemma was keen for Luca to meet her family before going official with one another.

In a bid to confirm their relationship, Luca went all out as he spoiled Gemma with a lavish Cartier bracelet costing £6,500, dozens of red roses and a balloon which read "Will you be my girlfriend?"

Despite Luca facing backlash from their followers, Gemma defended his decision, explaining she "felt for Luca" due to the pressure they had faced from the public.

She described the set-up as "incredible" before adding that Luca can't be faulted for his tremendous effort in a bid to seal their relationship.

Gemma recently landed a six-figure deal with fashion brand Pretty Little Thing, while admitting she's still getting her head around the deals she's being offered.
