Love Island's Francesca reveals secret chats with producers before recoupling

Francesca Allen has revealed the Islanders have secret chats with Love Island producers before recouplings.

The Essex clothing store manager, who was dumped from the villa on Sunday night's show, has spoken about the unaired chats with show bosses.

Viewers don't get to see the Islanders going off to discuss who they are interested in with the producers ahead of each recoupling.

Fran told Mirror Online that they don't influence your decisions or have "much input" into which person you couple up with.

She told us: "You do speak to them but everything is your own opinion and feelings. They don’t have that much input at all.

"They ask you how you’re feeling, who you're you interested in, do you like this person? So they don't really influence your decision.

"If you feel like you want to speak to someone you just speak to them."

Francesca was booted out of the villa with Michael Griffiths after receiving zero votes to save from their fellow Islanders.

The 23-year-old, who has links to Sam Faiers through her sister, only had a short time in the villa but doesn't think it was "unfair".

She said: "I didn’t find a connection there and that's the whole point of the show. So me leaving has enabled everyone else to grow as a couple.

"I’m okay. I’m sure they’ll be someone out there for me."

She admitted there was a spark with Chris Taylor, who she entered with, but they were just good friends.

Francesca insists there is no bad blood between herself, Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins after their love triangle.

She never felt uncomfortable during her time in the villa and didn't take any offence to being rejected by Curtis.

On her most awkward moment in the villa, Fran said: "I feel like probably being interested in someone that another girl is also interested in.

"It isn’t what you want in life really. In the outside world I probably wouldn’t have bothered pursuing it as such.

"I got along with Curtis as well and it was what I felt at the time. Maura was very understanding of it."
