Faye Winter has slammed her fellow former Love Island stars for blaming the show for how they were portrayed.
The Islander, who appeared in the 2021 series and reached the final, said her co-stars should take accountability for their actions.
She famously went on a sweary tirade at her partner Teddy Soares on the show, dividing viewers.
And Faye has now hit out after several former Islanders accused Love Island producers of editing the show to make them look like villains.
Faye said: "This gets to me because regardless of which scenes were aired, you still did those things… You are still that person and those things still left your mouth.
"Own it and move on. If you've got to apologise, apologise. If you've got to live up to it, live up to it. But don't start blaming unaired scenes for that."
Faye's fiery rant at Teddy sparked over 25,000 complaints to OfCom.
But the duo are still going from strength to strength and are even planning to get married one day.
Offering her advice to future Love Island stars, Faye went on: "My advice would be, stay true to yourself. Even if it's the wrong way to go about things. Never try to play up to cameras, you will get found out.
"And three, have the time of your life. Enjoy every moment of it – there will be bits of it you think, 'I don't want to do that' and it will really put you outside of your comfort zone."
She added to Cosmopolitan: "But once you've done it, you feel incredible and it's really not as bad as you thought it was going to be in the first place."
It comes after Jake Cornish accused ITV of editing his scenes to make him look like the bad guy in his relationship with Liberty Poole.
He said the backlash had caused him to receive terrifying death threats.
Jake recently told the MailOnline: "There's stuff I have spoken to Lib about on camera that hasn't aired about how I was feeling.
"It isn't nice I've been painted this way as a pantomime villain. It isn't the nicest to come across as someone I'm not."
He hit back at producers using footage from early on in the series at the movie night challenge.
In the clip the Islanders, including then girlfriend Liberty, were shown he was seen saying he didn't want to rip her clothes off.
"They've got to make storylines but it isn't nice when you're on the back end," he added.
"Liberty and I were big parts of the show; it was a way to make something out of it, which is a shame really. At the time I was like 'what the hell?'"
