Love Island star Faye Winter was left heartbroken before jetting off to Spain for the show as she had to give up her pet.
The 26-year-old blonde is a volunteer for Guide Dogs and was looking after a dog named Flossie earlier this year, but it was only temporary.
Taking to Instagram, Faye shared several snaps of her and the pooch and wrote a lengthy caption alongside them.
"Flossie - we knew this day was coming so how is it not any easier? I feel honoured to of been your boarder since the 10th of February 2020, the only thing I’m grateful to this pandemic for is giving me extra time with you by my side," she wrote.

"You’ve been my angel, enjoying the best days with me and getting me through the worst, thank you for the adventures and being the only reason I’ve managed to smile every single day, I owe so much to you.
"You will forever have a special place in my heart, I’m proud beyond words - I’m praying this is not goodbye more of a see you soon," Faye continued.

"Volunteering for The Guide Dogs for the past four years has truly been the most amazing experience, the people and most importantly the dogs are incredible!" the lettings manager added.
"It’s been the biggest pleasure being apart of such a life-changing charity, it’s helped me through personal situations and for that I will always be grateful, but for now it’s time for me to take a break as Flossie leaving has hit me extremely hard."

No doubt Faye will continue to volunteer for the charity once Love Island is over, but it's unsure if she will make it to the final yet.
During Friday night's re-coupling she chose to partner up with new boy Liam Reardon after enjoying a date with him the night before.
Faye was previously in a couple with PE teacher Hugo Hammond, but clearly fancied Welshman Liam.

Meanwhile, Hugo got lucky as he was chosen by Chloe Burrows - which left Brad and Chuggs both single and on the shelf.
Moments later, bombshell Rachel Finni entered the villa and the group were told that she had 24 hours to decide which guy she wants to partner up with.
Speaking about why she decided to go on Love Island, Rachel said: "It’s a combination of two things - I’ve always been a fan of the show and it’s a great experience, you meet great people. I’m someone who loves to live my life to the best."

And when asked what she is looking for in a romantic partner, Rachel revealed "I love the way modern relationships are. I don’t need a man for anything. I can buy my own home and take care of myself.
"I just love knowing I have another person there that I’m going through life with," she added.
Love Island airs every night, except on Saturdays, at 9pm on ITV2.
