Love Island's Faye Winter applauded as she announces first post-villa job

Faye Winter has become the latest Love Island star to reveal her first job since leaving the villa.

And it will melt your heart.

The 26-year-old was part of the ITV2 dating show's summer series and she didn't have the easiest of times.

Faye, who was a lettings manager before she took part in the show, was subjected to thousands of complaints from viewers after explosive outbursts whilst in the villa.

But she and Teddy Soares emerged as a fully-fledged couple and finished the show in third place.

The pair have since been enjoying life in the real world, splitting their time between London and Faye's home in Devon.

Now, Faye has revealed what she'll be using her new found platform for.

Taking to Instagram with a series of smiling snaps alongside a four-legged friend, she revealed that she is now a Campaign Star for Guide Dogs.

Faye has been a volunteer for The Guide Dogs for four years and has previously said her role has been 'life-changing.'

"I honestly cannot believe I have the honour of writing this, I’m delighted to say now as a Campaign Star for Guide Dogs we will be doing so many fun, exciting campaigns together (PINCH ME!)" she shared with her 1.1m Instagram followers.

"It’s my first project since leaving the villa and I’ve had some amazing meetings with Guide Dogs discussing how I can support them in the future.

"This for me is why I’ve been given my platform! I hope together we can continue changing lives all over the UK!

"I would never of(sic) believed this would be me when I signed up to be a volunteer four years ago! It's going to be amazing and my proudest achievement to date and the best part is you can all join in!"

She added: "Watch this space for further details on what I’ll be doing with them."

Faye's fellow Love Island stars were among the first to heap praise on her over her new role.

"A cause you love so much, and have already contributed so much too, time to take it to the next level girl," Georgia Townend said.

Amy Day added: "BRB. Currently crying. Well done Queen."

"Queen of doing things her own way," reality star Vicky Pattinson added.

Mrs Hinch also commented: "Amazing Faye."

Fans were also quick to comment.

"Absolutely amazing that you chose your first campaign to be for a charity, and an amazing charity at that. Love that you use charity shops and are using your fame to improve the lives of others," one wrote.

Another shared: "OMG YAY!!!! Love this for you Faye!!! What an amazing thing to do!!!"

"Your(sic) incredible so great to see you using your platform for good," a third commented.

A fourth added: "Now that is what you call an 'influencer'."

"Ladies and gentlemen, the real queen of love island," another said.

Faye recently shared a sweet message in honour of the charity's 90th birthday.

Sharing a picture of all the dogs she has cared for, she wrote: "Happy 90th Birthday to the Guide Dogs, a charity that helps change the lives of so many, a charity that I’m honoured to be a part of.

"To the life-changers I have been lucky enough to look after, although I miss them more than words could ever describe.

"I am so proud of each of them, there really isn’t a day that they don’t cross my mind but I know they are all doing an incredible job giving someone a life that would not be possible without them! FLOSSIE. TEAL. QUEISHA. JASPER. ELLA. WINNIE."
