Love Island's Faye Winter admits on Lorraine she's 'embarrassed' by controversial argument

Love Island stars, Faye Winter and Teddy Soares appeared on Lorraine today to talk about their experiences on the show, and Faye admitted she felt embarrassed by their controversial argument.

The pair starred on the latest series of the popular ITV2 show and coupled up, but their blossoming romance soon hit the rocks due to Teddy's actions in Casa Amor.

Faye was shown footage, a long with some of the shows other contestants, of Teddy admitting he was sexually attracted to another woman - Clarisse Juliette - after he was flirting with her and later kissed her.

Faye, 26, was furious with Teddy's revelations and when he returned to the villa she struck up a fiery argument with him.

After the argument was aired to the public, 25,000 Ofcom complaints were made - making it the most complained about argument in the show's history.

Faye was later seen apologising to Teddy and the couple rekindled their romance, but Faye's social media accounts, monitored by her family while she was in the villa, received many abusive and threatening comments.

The couple appeared on Lorraine today separately via video link, as they are both isolating after returning home from the show.

Christine Lampard asked the pair about that controversial argument, saying: "How do you feel about the argument now that you've had some time to reflect, you've come home and undoubtedly you've probably watched it back?"

Lettings manager, Faye replied: "I actually haven't watched it back. We were in the moment and we were living it. Obviously it's not nice for anyone to see and I'm embarrassed."

Despite being embarrassed, Faye also admitted she has apologised to Teddy many times and they're looking forward to their future together.

She added: "We're over it now as couple and it's made us stronger. We're just looking forward to the future but it's such a big shame that it was such a big part of the show."

The pair also admitted their future is looking bright and when they get out of isolation they will be looking for a place together.

Presenter, Christine finished the interview by asking the couple if the shows winner's, Millie and Liam were rightful winners and they both agreed that they were.
