Love Island's Faye fights tears as she admits regret over angry outburst at Teddy

Love Island has entered its final two weeks for this summer and it appears as though Faye Winter is ready to make amends with Teddy Soares.

The couple came to blows last week after fiery Faye saw a clip of hunky Teddy admitted he was attracted to Clarisse Juliette in Casa Amor.

Faye's explosive outburst led to angry viewers complaining about her behaviour to Ofcom and it looked as though there was no way back for the pair as she announced they were "done".

However, in a preview clip for Tuesday night's show at the end of Monday's episode, a tearful Faye is seen chatting to Millie Court about a potential rekindling.

She was seen wiping the tears away as she said: "I'm going to apologise. I want to apologise.

"But I still don't want him to think that I'm not upset about what's happened."

It comes after Teddy was picked to go on a date with new girl Priya Gopaldas.

He received a text which read: “Teddy and Matthew, Priya would like to date you both, please get ready to head out to the garden #mendingbrokenhearts #kissoflife."

But despite seemingly having a good chat with the medical student, Teddy confessed that he wasn't open to getting to know her as he still has feelings for Faye.

The preview clip for Tuesday's show follows Sunday night's sneak peek on Love Island : Aftersun.

Again in conversation with Millie, unseen footage showed Faye being extremely apologetic for her behaviour.

She said: "I feel bad and I feel like s**t that I blew up the way I did, and I am sorry for what I done.

"There is no excuse for it, there is no excuse for the way I just flew out off the handle.

"But I just wanna move forward with it, if anything it's made me realise what I want."

Millie replied: "All you can say to Teddy is a genuine apology for that but he also needs to apologise too."

Faye simply responded: "Yeah."

Monday night's show saw two more islanders dumped from the villa with Dale Mehmet and Abigail Rawlings getting their marching orders.

Along with Priya's entrance, the girls were also treated to a new man as Aaron Simpson joined and quickly dated Mary Bedford and Chloe Burrows.

Mary certainly seemed smitten with the footballer and admitted to Teddy she switched off at times as she admired the newbie's beauty.

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
