Love Island couple Faye Winter and Teddy Soares have shared an incredibly emotional reunion as they reunited for the first time since the final last week.
The lovebirds, who came third in the 2021 series of the ITV2 show, were torn apart for over a week after they arrived home to the UK where they had to quarantine separately after their whirlwind summer in Majorca.
However, on Monday night, Teddy surprised his girlfriend Faye when he arrived to her front door for an incredibly emotional reunion.
The pair were catching up over FaceTime when Teddy appeared to tell Faye to get up and go to her front door.
Faye’s expression completely changed when she realised that her boyfriend was standing outside of her house, ready to give her a huge hug after their time apart.
The reality TV babe burst into tears when she opened the door to see Teddy standing outside, and the pair documented the special moment for their Instagram followers.
The lovebirds immediately jumped into one another’s arms as they made the most of their time together after being torn apart for the first time since their Love Island experience.
Faye and Teddy came in third place during the grande finale last Monday night.
They fell behind runner-up couple Chloe and Toby, and Liam and Millie who were crowned champions of the 2021 show as they jetted home with the £50,000 cash prize.
Fiery Faye and tame Teddy became one of the villa’s favourite couples, despite their roller-coaster relationship and explosive rows.
The sweet reunion comes after Faye admitted that she hasn’t spoken to Chloe or Millie since leaving the villa.
The girls appeared to be incredibly close friends while on the show, but it seems as though they haven’t made much of an effort with one another since their Love Island journey ended.
The former lettings manager confessed that whilst she's been in contact with some of her former fellow Islanders, she hasn't spoken to Liberty either.
Taking part in a fans Q&A session on Instagram , she was asked which of the girls she still speaks to.
"I've been in contact with a lot of the girls; Sharon, Abi, Rachel, and Kaz," she replied to the question.
“I've also been in contact with AJ, Mary, and Clarisse."
