Love Island's Faye admits she's starting to doubt relationship with Teddy

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, but for Love Island contestant Faye Winter she has been wracked with doubt and uncertainty ever since Teddy Soares left the villa for Casa Amor.

The 26-year-old lettings manager has been determined to stay with Teddy after being coupled with him at the past three coupling ceremonies.

But now Faye fears that the 26-year-old might be too nice for her as she contemplated and assessed their relationship so far.

Sitting down with fellow Islander Millie Court, 24, Faye hinted that she might not be as in to Teddy as she originally thought as he has been out of sight all week while off enjoying himself inside rival house, Casa Amor.

Turning to Millie, Faye confessed: “I don’t know if Teddy’s a bit calm for me: Cool calm and collected.”

Millie probes: “What are you trying to tell me right now? You don’t know, you’re confused?”

Faye says: “I really like Teddy, I’m just worried is he too calm?”

But Millie is convinced Teddy is Faye’s endgame match and urged her to reassess her thoughts – highlighting how much she has been pining for the hunky financial consultant.

Millie insists: “No, Faye. Don’t put other people’s thoughts into your head. You’ve been missing Teddy so much, every single day, all day and all night.”

Faye admits: “So much.”

Millie then replies: “You’ve got his ring on right now, you’ve got his aftershave on…”

And this provokes Faye to laugh: “I smell like a man.”

The tense conversation is set to be aired on Love Island tonight – while other scenes will show fellow couples being rocked by the Casa Amor twist.

Some of the boys who are already coupled have been enjoying passionate snogs and sizzling lap dances while away from their current partners inside Casa Amor – including Teddy who said he felt "guilty" when he locked lips with a new bombshell.

While some viewers think Jake Cornish, who is partnered with Liberty Poole, is sabotaging the other couples by encouraging the boys in Casa Amor to explore their options inside the rival house which is situated away from the main villa.

Viewers in particular have noted Jake encouraging Liam Reardon – who had a three-way kiss with two other new female contestants – to behave badly when he is supposedly paired with Millie.

One frustrated viewer tweeted: "WHAT IS JAKE TRYING TO DO???? Leave Liam alone tf??? #loveisland."

Another fumed: "jake stop convincing everyone else to be unfaithful kmt #loveisland.”

While another suggested Jake had reason to disrupt the relationships of his fellow Islanders, tweeting he is: “Trying to win 50 grand obviously.”

A further fan suggested Jake was attempting to pull the wool over the eyes of winner-voting Love Island viewers as well as his fellow contestants.

They tweeted: "Guy is a genius, get all the other guys to look bad. Gets the most likable girl to fall for him. First couple to go official. Come final night he'll take the 50k for himself. Announce that's how you play the game and mic drop."

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 and via the ITV Hub at 9pm.
