Love Island's Ellie claims unaired blazing row forced producers to intervene

Dumped Love Islander Ellie Spence has claimed that the ITV show's producers were forced to step in to quell a blazing row that was never aired during her time in the villa. Ellie entered the villa on day 10 of the current winter series but left 16 days later.

Since leaving the villa, she has taken to TikTok to open up about some of her experiences on Love Island, including a massive row that never made it to air that had the show's producers taking action.

While shedding light on her experience, Ellie, 25, claims that two Islanders came to blows over a challenge which left one of them in tears, reports Mirror Online.

Ellie claims that several of the female Islanders ended up arguing over Ron after the "Ladiators" challenge. Addressing her followers, the business development executive said: "The producers asked us to deliberate about who was the sexiest dancer and who did the best performance.

"What you didn’t see was the girls immediately started arguing. Tanyel, Lana and Samie were immediately like 'we need Ron to win.' And then all of us were like 'ew why would we pick Ron,' and it's not like we were Ron haters but so much had happened at that point and we were sick of Ron and didn't want to reward his behaviour."

The Norwich-born star added: "Immediately Olivia was like 'I'm not having it, Casey's over there crying, I'm not picking Ron.'

"Then Tanyel was going back at Olivia about picking Ron and me and Tanya were just standing there. We were p***ing ourselves and they were just going back and forth and the producers were like 'stop arguing, stop, stop.'"

Ellie later claimed that the group were told to "hold the chat" at times if they wanted to discuss something so they could film the conversations at a later time. "So they made them hold the chat because they wanted to put the camera in," she explained.

The star also claimed that Olivia was left upset as she accused Sami of "stealing her friends" following her entrance into the villa.

Ellie's comments come after fellow Islander Anna-May Robey praised the bosses behind the show after she admitted to struggling during her time in the villa.

Speaking on Johnny Seifert's Secure The Insecure Podcast, she said: "To be fair, their production team and they've got welfare in there. You know, we've got psychologists that you can speak to, they're all really good when like you're kind of struggling, they're all there for you."
