Love Island’s Ekin-Su signs major deal with Oh Polly

Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has announced she has signed a deal with fashion brand Oh Polly in her first major career move since leaving the villa last month.

The 28-year-old sported Oh Polly clothing more than 30 times during her time on the ITV dating show, making her the perfect ambassador for the brand. Ekin-Su had teased her fans that something exciting was in the pipeline while spending time in Los Angeles over the past week.

Now it seems her trip stateside was to add the finishing touches to the deal and have several stunning promotional photoshoots. The Turkish actress took to Instagram on Thursday to make the news official.

She said: “This is the news I’ve been waiting to tell you all. I am beyond excited to announce I am now the face of @ohpolly.

"I honestly can’t believe this is happening – it is a complete dream come true. I have always loved the quality and fit of @ohpolly as you will all have seen during my time on Love Island.

"We have so many amazing things in the pipeline and I cannot wait for you guys to see what we have been working on.”

Ekin-Su also thanked her fans for their “love and support” in the post, adding the deal would not have been possible without them. While Oh Polly has remained tight-lipped over the amount Ekin-Su is set to make for deal, reports have suggested it is worth a whopping £1million.

The fashion brand described the move as its “biggest partnership yet.” It said: “We're absolutely thrilled to be teaming up with Ekin-Su and look forward to bringing her vision to life over the coming months.

“The Oh Polly x Ekin-Su partnership will without a doubt be our biggest yet and we can't wait to unveil what we've got in the pipeline.”

Ekin-Su's fellow islanders were quick to congratulate her on the move, with boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti saying: "Congratulations for the new adventure baby, I wish you all the best with this." Third place contestant Dami Hope said: "Congrats sisssy, been waiting to see what you were up to."

Ekin-Su is not the first contestant to sign a major deal since leaving the villa, as series runner-up Gemma Owen has become an ambassador for PrettyLittleThing. Third place Indiyah Polack also announced a six-figure deal with the fashion brand on Thursday as she becomes the face of its first ever marketplace, in addition to her new role as Boots' Beauty Ambassador.
