Love Island's Ekin-Su says Davide romance is 'job in itself' after Dancing on Ice signing

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has spoken about her relationship with Davide Sanclimenti, saying that "it's not easy" dating in the public eye but she is learning to adjust to the situation.

The reality TV star, 28, met her beau, 27, when they were both contestants on Love Island over the summer, and the pair have continued their romance since leaving the villa and winning the series.

Juggling work projects – like taking part in the new series of Dancing on Ice – alongside the relationship can be challenge though, with Ekin-Su addressing this recently.

She teased: "Having a relationship is a job on its own!" Ekin-Su further said: "We want to make sure that we’re both supporting each other and seeing each other. It's not easy."

Speaking to new! magazine at the launch of her Oh Polly collection, Ekin-Su said that she feels the relationship has "changed" since being on the ITV2 reality series.

"It was almost like in the villa we liked each other but now it feels like we're boyfriend and girlfriend. We really feel for each other," she revealed.

Ekin-Su said that one thing she has learnt in her relationship with Davide is that you "have to trust your [partner]" because "it's not easy" dating whilst in the public eye.

The Love Island winner said trust is certainly needed when people make rumours up or misinterpret situations involving high-profile individuals, such as her and Davide.

Discussing such circumstances, Ekin-Su explained in the interview "You just have to communicate with your partner, trust your partner and keep your relationship private."

Eki-Su's comments come following speculation over her relationship when Davide was seen getting into a taxi with two women, and another man, whilst Ekin-Su was abroad.

The couple later addressed the situation, including on This Morning last month where Ekin-Su said that Davide had actually been part of a larger group of people that night.

She said that had been "only limited" taxis available, with Davide adding that a mutual friend had seen him with "a bunch of people," rather than just him and the women.

Davide said that he and Ekin-Su had been "speaking the whole night so she knew the truth". The reality TV star said he ended up laughing when he heard the rumours.

Their relationship appears to be going from strength to strength, with Ekin-Su sharing in the interview with new! that she would "of course" want to marry Davide one day.

She suggested that nuptials could come in two or three years, though it won't be yet. Ekin-Su said you have to ensure it's "the right moment in your life".

They are also thriving professionally, including working together on new ITV2 series Ekin-Su & Davide: Homecomings which will see them travel to Italy and Turkey together.

And Ekin-Su has been announced as part of the line-up for the new series of Dancing on Ice, saying: "I am so excited for the team, I can't wait to get myself on the ice and skate."
