Love Island's Ekin-Su confirmed for Dancing on Ice

Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is the third contestant announced for the next series of Dancing on Ice.

Good Morning Britain's showbiz reporter Richard Arnold confirmed the news during Wednesday's programme. The news comes after ITV announced Ekin-Su and her partner Davide Sanclimenti will launch their own reality show on the channel.

Ekin-Su & Davide: Homecomings will see the couple embark on two trips of a lifetime to Davide’s beloved Italy and Ekin-Su’s hometown in Turkey. After a summer of love, the couple are set to bring back the flirting, fun and laughter to our screens.

For the first time since leaving the Love Island Villa, Davide will return to Italy with Ekin by his side and the two-part series will see the 'Turkish Delight' win over Davide's family. Showing off her cooking skills in his family's kitchen, she will prepare some homemade Gnocchi with the help of Davide's mum as the two bond further.

Meanwhile, Davide will be introduced to all of Ekin's friends from her acting days in Turkey. While there they will also venture on a eight-hour road trip in a campervan to Ekin-Su’s family village of Odemis.

And more drama, like the kind that caused Davide's famous catchphrase - "You're a liar!" - could be expected as they spend a night sleeping in their motorhome, living in a confined space.

Ekin-Su will take part in Dancing on Ice, which is set to air in early 2023. Other contestants who have been confirmed include DJ and actress Patsy Palmer and football legend and TV presenter John Fashanu.

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will welcome a whole host of new celebrity faces to the ITV show as they swap their normal professions for the ice rink. Each will be paired with a professional ice skater as they strut their stuff to music to try and wow judges Oti Mabuse, dancer Ashley Banjo and skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
