Love Island's 'edited out' friendship as fans fume over Kaz and Liam's 'deleted' scenes

Love Island fans have voiced their frustration after claiming that Kaz and Liam's friendship has been "edited out" of the series.

Over the last few days, viewers have been left stunned over the pair's affection towards one another, indicating that they are clearly close to one another.

During Saturday night's Unseen Bits, Kaz and Liam were seen laughing as they hugged one another in a challenge.

While on Friday night's show, after her big date with Tyler, she instantly ran up to Liam and leapt into his arms as they laughed.

Other very brief moments have shown them giggling on the day beds while chatting away.

And fans have been left utterly confused as to why more scenes showing their friendship haven't been aired over the last few weeks.

Sharing grabs of the pair chatting away and hugging, one fan tweeted: "Kaz and Liam are full blown besties and the show refuses to show it #LoveIsland."

Another agreed, writing: "I need to know when they became besties, the producers have been holding out on us way too much."

A third wrote: "Liam is picking Kaz up at every chance he gets, fam. He needs to spill his truth."

One fumed: "LOOK AT KAZ AND LIAM’S HIDDEN SECRET FRIENDSHIP THAT WE NEVER GOT TO SEE WHAT THE F*** #LoveIsland."

"Feel like we’ve been robbed of seeing Kaz & Liam’s friendship blossom .. the way she ran into his arms #kaziam #LoveIsland," another wrote.

"Liam and Kaz’s friendship warms my heart #LoveIsland," one commented.

Sharing a grab of the pair from Unseen Bits, a fan fumed: "Was this Kaz and Liam again? They've truly hidden this friendship from us. #LoveIsland #UnseenBits."

It comes as the Islanders all prepare for tonight's final, which will see one couple crowned the winners of the 2021 series.

Kaz and Tyler, Liam and Millie, Faye and Teddy and Chloe and Toby will all be battling out to win tonight's show and the £50,000 cash prize.

Inevitably, the winning couple will then be asked whether they want to split or steal the money - so far, no Islander has stolen the money, but there's always a first time...

*Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
