Love Island's Dr Alex George has left his NHS shift in tears after seeing the distressing wards on the frontline.
The A&E hero confessed he has been enduring difficult days week in week out while he worked on the frontline at the hospital in Lewisham amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Torn from the arms of his girlfriend Amelia and separated from his family, it's been an incredibly emotional few weeks for the TV doctor on his own at his Chelsea flat.
Dr Alex spoke of the horror of the "things" he had seen in hospitals while the country fights off the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the globe.
The TV doctor shared an insight into his gruelling schedule for the past few weeks on Lorraine on Thursday.

He told Lorraine: "There have been some difficult times. There's been days where I've been coming home very upset and in tears at the things I've seen.
"That's being completely honest. I'm quite open to speak to my colleagues at work. We've got a wellness room, which actually we can kind of go to if things get a bit difficult. I have a little bit time alone. Or speak to a colleague or a friend and go through what you're experiencing."
During his TV interview, Alex thanked his girlfriend Amelia for being "amazing".

The doctor said he had been speaking to his girlfriend about what had been happening inside the hospital wards.
It's been difficult for the inseparable couple as they have been living separately for the past five weeks while Alex worked on the frontline.
He added: "Family is very important too, my girlfriend has been amazing, I've spoken to her about certain things as well."

Dr Alex recently moved into his new home after he was forced to flee his other flat when the tenancy ended.
The NHS hero has been renting a home since he sold the property renovation he completed after Love Island.
He skyrocketed to fame on the summer version of Love Island in 2017.
Dr Alex returned to his medical career after trying to find love on reality TV.
Although he failed to find long-lasting love in the villa with the likes of Alexandra Cane, he has since met the woman of his dreams.
Sparks have been flying for Alex and Amelia ever since they met in December 2018.
Prior to coronavirus, the couple lived happily together.
