Love Island’s Danny's 'ex' girlfriend flies to Mallorca sparking rumours he isn't single

Love Island fans are fuelling speculation that newcomer Danny Bibby may only be on the show to earn money rather than find love, as it has emerged his ex girlfriend flew out to Mallorca at the same time as he did.

It turns out both 25-year-old plummer Danny and ex Nicole Jade are on the Spanish island even the duo supposedly split five months ago, which has caused some Love Island fans to wonder whether the couple are still together.

Nicole recently posted a shot from her Mallorca trip with the caption "I'll be watching you", and she captioned another similar bikini shot: "I don't chase, I attract."

And the Sun report that contestant Danny's mum Sue has been commenting on Nicole's photos too, suggesting the women still have a strong relationship despite the apparent split.

Danny's own social media accounts did nothing to dampen speculation recently when they shared a post, presumably by a friend of Danny's, reading "come on lad, bring that money home." However, whoever is managing Danny's page deleted the post after fans began speculating.

One wrote: "Danny’s definitely still got a gf on the outside, he’s in it for the money for his clothing business, to try get a little bit of fame and that’s that #LoveIsland."

Another fan speculated: "IVE DECIDED Lucinda and Danny are in it for the money babes fr out of everyone there I can see through their acts."

Discussing his recent break up with fellow contestant AJ, Danny explained that the two had only recently called it quits.

"So basically, like, I got with her just purely on looks," he said.

"And after a couple of months cracks started to show and my mates were like 'Mate, she's not for you'."

It comes as Danny was embroiled within a racism row as he entered the villa after a historic social media post showed him using the n-word.

Danny has since apologised from within the villa for his mistake and claimed that he isn't racist.

"I'd like to take the time to apologise to anyone that may have taken offence to my inappropriate remark. I never meant anything malicious by this comment at all," he said.

"I am not a racist person and it's unacceptable language and ignorant. I meant no offence and feel like I have really learnt from my mistakes and will never use that word again. I am a kind loving person and hopefully you get to see that in the show."
