Love Island’s Dani Dyer tells GMB she doesn't drink tap water because of a weird conspiracy

Dani Dyer has today revealed she doesn’t drink tap water for a very strange reason.

The Love Island 2018 winner appeared on Good Morning Britain to talk about her book when she was prompted to lift the lid on her bizarre conspiracy theory.

Host Kate Garraway was intrigued to dig deeper into the mind of Dani, and asked her what she meant by her claim that tap water would be the way the government would kill us.

“Are you dangerously dehydrated?” she asked the daughter of Eastenders actor Danny Dyer.

Dani laughed before explaining her thought process.

“I studied history and I learnt all about cholera,” she said.

“I know it sounds so silly but I just thought - if that disease could kill so many people, how has it changed? I know I sound really stupid. But yeah I just can’t drink tap water.”

Co-host Ben Shephard put it to her that it was quite a conspiracy theory.

“I believe in it,” said Dani, firmly. “I am so passionate."

She added: “I feel rude though when I go round someone’s house. I will drink it but I am sort of looking at every mouthful.”

Dani won the ITV2 dating show in 2018 with Jack Fincham, but have since parted ways.

GMB airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
