Love Island's Dani Dyer gives birth to first child as she gushes over 'special little boy'

Dani Dyer has given birth to a baby boy a month after her due date.

The Love Island star, 24, welcomed the new arrival she had with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence into the world on Saturday as she gushed over her 'special little boy'.

The daughter of Danny Dyer, who initially hoped her son would be born around Christmas, revealed she is in a "complete baby bubble" after a long labour.

Announcing the news on Instagram, she wrote: "After a very long day and night finally our special little boy arrived 23/01/2021 ... Weighing 7 pound.

"We are in a complete baby bubble and enjoying every moment, can not believe he is ours, completely inlove and so grateful to be his mummy..

"Sending all my love to all the other mommas to be out there in lockdown.. the best experience ever will never forget this day."

The reality star said last week she had been putting Tabasco sauce on "everything" and drinking raspberry leaf tea to try to help the baby arrive quicker.

New grandad Danny admitted this week how he's upset at not being able to meet the baby in hospital after his daughter gives birth.

During an episode of Spotify Original podcast 'Sorted with the Dyers', he said: "I don’t think I’m allowed to see my own grandchild. That is very upsetting."

He joked: "I think you’ve been slightly selfish holding this baby in for as long as you have."

And she replied: "I feel like this baby is too comfortable.

"I’m trying different things. I’m drinking my raspberry leaf tea, I’ve been bouncing on my ball.

"I’ve been putting Tabasco on everything! I am trying, but apparently that's all a myth, all the hot curries and what you’re meant to do.

"A curry upsets my stomach anyway so imagine that!"

Speaking earlier this month Dani also told how she was already thinking about having a second child.

Speaking in an Instagram Q&A to launch her latest In The Style range, a fan asked: "In the future will you do more pregnancy ranges?"

Dani replied: "Yes for sure, if In The Style want to keep doing them then I'm sure with baby no 2 I will do more maternity haha (sic)".
