Love Island's Dale Mehmet confessed he’s attracted to Faye and will slide in her DMs when she leaves the Spanish villa.
The Glasgow barber, 24, was unceremoniously booted off the show, alongside Abigail Rawlings, after their fellow Islanders picked them to leave the villa.
The duo were up against Mary, Kaz, Tyler and Jake in the tense dumping after getting the least public votes, and their friends were told to pick two people who would leave immediately.
In a chat following his exit, Dale remained upbeat about his departure from the hit ITV2 dating show, and despite showing interest in Mary and Abi, he said he’s got his eye on Faye once she leaves the villa - but not in the way you'd think.

“I can’t look at Faye and not smile. Genuinely she’s an amazing person. I came away from this experience and she’s the person that I had the strongest connection with,” Dale confessed.
But, he won’t be stepping on Teddy’s toes, and vowed to steer clear of anything romantic with Faye if she was still coupled up with him.
“She was definitely someone I found attractive, I love her personality. She was a real good friend, stunning person, she’s a really good, good girl,” he raved.

“But I’m a boys’ boy and Teddy was one of my boys. So I could never do that, as much as I found her attractive and I like her personality.
“I’ll slide into her DMs to say hi,” Dale quipped. “It’s not going to be, ‘Let’s go on a date’. She’s a good girl and Teddy’s a good boy. For me personally, on a romantic level, I couldn’t.”
He also discussed the other girls in the villa, and admitted he was surprised by Chloe's outgoing personality.

“I wasn’t initially attracted to Chloe – her personality took me by surprise. She’s one of the funniest people I have ever met. She is so funny. She’s such an amazing person,” Dale gushed.
Viewers saw he had an instant connection with Mary, and he revealed that while she was his “type on paper”, it probably wouldn't work out.
“If you looked at my type on paper, it would be Mary. We had a lot in common. I feel like I’ll see her around. She’s a nice girl, gorgeous girl and I hope the best for her,” he added.

Despite only being in the villa for a short time, Dale said he and the Casa Amor boys, including Sam, Harry and Matthew, had a great bond, and would be keeping in touch after the show ends.
“It was a good experience to go in as a ‘Casa boy’. I enjoyed it. I went in with an amazing set of boys, we were good mates,” he shared.
Before he entered the Love Island villa, Dale confessed he had his eye on Faye, and was attracted to her “attitude and personality”.
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub
