Love Island's Curtis will meet ex Amy for first time since villa at Reunion show

It's exactly the type of awkwardness Love lsland: The Reunion was created for.

Amy Hart is poised to reunite with her ex Curtis Pritchard and his new girlfriend Maura Higgins in just a few hours' time.

And it looks like the hunk is already getting a little nervous.

27-year-old Amy left the villa "heartbroken and humiliated" after being brutally pied by Curtis in the Casa Amor twist.

Following their dramatic showdown, Curtis revealed he's still caught up with Amy in person a week after being in the 'real world'

Taking to Instagram ahead of the ITV show, he said: "Obviously I am going to being seeing Amy for the first time, so...yeah...

"I don't really know what to say about that!" he gulped on his story which was captioned 'it is what it is'.

Maura then piped up: "He has spoken to her, so it's all good."

Curtis then takes a deep breath and says "Yeah. It's good."

Maura then teased that "there could be a bit of drama" with some of the other contestants later on.

But the big question is how will Amy react - and has she got something to say after watching it all back on TV?

Speaking at the time of her exit, she said: “I have been on such a huge journey.

“I did not imagine that first night I would meet this boy that would change my life and change my mindset.

“I want him to be happy and I want him to meet someone else so I’m leaving here today not holding any grudges against anyone, not against Curtis, not against Maura, no one.”

She continued: “I never thought I would fall in love, I never thought someone would make me feel so special that I would fall in love with them and I did and it makes me realise that that will happen for me again, just not in here.

Will host Caroline Flack stir the pot this evening?

Viewers haven't got long to wait and find out if Curtis will get a grilling from his ex.

Love Island: The Reunion begins at 9pm tonight on ITV2
