Love Island's Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury swapping dancing and boxing for new show

Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury are going to cement their friendship by taking on each other's career for a new Love Island spin-off show.

The pair formed an unlikely bromance after entering the villa on the ITV2 show at the same time.

Their closeness was one of the more fascinating relationships on the show and now ITV bosses want to explore it further after the pair proved to be two of the most talked about Islanders from the summer.

Curtis and Tommy will swap the ballroom dance floor and the boxing ring, as the pair take on each other's profession.

The Sun has reported that the show, being dubbed the Boxer and Ballroom, is thought to be scheduled to air before Christmas.

Since leaving the villa, Curtis has admitted that they haven't seen as much of each other than they would have liked.

Dancer Curtis finished as one of the finalists in the series alongside Maura Higgins, who has just signed up for a stint on ITV's Dancing On Ice.

Speaking about the difficulties of keeping their relationship going, now they are back in the 'real world', Curtis said: "It’s not going too badly with Maura.

"People are expecting us to live a Love Island life outside of the villa, but we’re all getting incredible opportunities, so we can’t be with each other all the time and can’t post that we’re together all the time.

“I’m not seeing anyone else and neither is Maura.”

Tommy meanwhile has seen his relationship with Molly-Mae Hague being put through intense media scrutiny, with a number of their fellow Islanders questioning the validity of their feelings, despite them moving in together
