Love Island's Connagh hits out at 'lying' Sophie over secret kiss with Connor

The Love Island battle between Connor Durman and Connagh Howard was well and truly over in the latest episode, except Sophie Piper didn't make it clear.

She realised her feelings for Connor during Tuesday night's episode, after his date with new girl Rebecca Gormley.

Currently coupled up with Connagh after he stole her from original Connor, she quickly realised her heart only lied with one of them.

After he returned to the villa, Sophie sat down with Connor and confessed her true feelings before they sealed things with a kiss.

But it wasn't until the next day that her current partner, who didn't know where her head was at, learned the truth.

The secret kissed made it's way to Rebecca, who dropped the gossip during a chat with model Connagh around the pool.

He was stunned, and later on he took Sophie aside to ask her about it.

Asking if they had kissed, Sophie lied to his face unaware he had been told all about it.

Instead she claimed there was no snog, and instead a little peck after the dares challenge that evening prior.

Connagh brought up the fact he had been told otherwise, to which Sophie burst out laughing before confessing there was a kiss after all.

Confessing it was "s**t that had just come out of her mouth" she was left awkward when he didn't see the funny side, admitting he wished she had been honest with him.

Explaining she felt awkward, she wasn't sure why she had lied as he rumbled she had already made her decision about which man she wanted behind his back.

Taking to the Beach Hut, he was quick to call out Rochelle Humes' sister for lying to his face, not sure he could trust her.

He said: "Maybe it was a blessing in disguise if she's gonna be telling little lies like that.

"I don't see why you have to lie about it. If I already knew, why lie about it?"

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2.
