Love Island's Chloe confirms she doesn't fancy Hugo as she reveals ideal man

He may have saved her from being booted out of the Love Island villa, but it seems it wasn't enough for Chloe Burrows to be attracted to fellow islander Hugo Hammond.

After coupling up together following last week's brutal recoupling, where Toby Aromolaran ditched blonde beauty Chloe for new bombshell Abigail Rawlings, some have speculated whether trainee teacher Hugo may have a crush on the marketing executive

However, it doesn't look the rumoured feelings are mutual as Chloe revealed her "new" ideal type during Saturday night's Love Island: Unseen Bits.

"My new type is a cheeky Essex geezer," the 25-year-old told a giggling Lucinda Strafford and Millie Court during a girly chat.

It's a far cry from prim and proper PE teacher Hugo, who hails from Hampshire.

"I'm being so serious," she continued, as Millie jokingly chanted "Essex, Essex!"

"I don't want 'sexy, good looking mysterious', I don't want that," Chloe explained.

"I'm thinking tanned, big arms - maybe Turkey teeth?"

The boisterous chat also included the three female islanders 'manifesting' a new arrival, who fits the star's new type, to sweep her off her feet.

It's more bad news for unlucky-in-love Hugo who has so far failed to make a romantic connection with anyone on this year's series.

While newcomer Georgia Townsend openly admitted she had her eyes set on the 24-year-old, he decided to save pal Chloe during the recoupling, which left the 28-year-old packing her bags and flying home from the Spanish island.

The reality TV star also didn't succeed in hitting it off with other former villa partners, Sharon Gaffka and Faye Winter.

Some viewers have even suggested that Hugo doesn't understand the aim of the show, instead enjoying a relaxing holiday in the sun rather than 'grafting' to find a soulmate on the ITV2 dating series.

However, he was redeemed from criticism when his dramatic speech when coupling up with Chloe caused tension in the villa and provided Love Island fans with some entertaining scenes.

Previously in the dating series, Chloe confessed that there was "no chance" of the pair making things romantic when discussing their first friendship couple team up.

Speaking to presenter Laura Whitmore during Love Island : Aftersun live from the villa on July 4, the islander confessed the teacher was "a bit too nice" for her tastes.

"Me and Hugo are in a little bit of a friendship couple but it's going so well," she told the 36-year-old host.

The islander has made it pretty clear her feelings for Hugo are platonic (ITV)

"He's the loveliest boy in the whole world so it's just like having a best friend in here, having a little holiday. Obviously, that's not why we're here but it's so nice, I'm so grateful for Hugo."

When quizzed if there was "no chance" of a romance between the pair by host Laura, Chloe answered: "He is so cute but no, I don't think it's on the cards.

"He's just a little bit too nice for me."
