Love Island's Chloe Burrows says she's not a homewrecker after married man boast

Love Island star Chloe Burrows says that she is not a homewrecker after she boasted about being involved with a married man in the past.

The 25-year-old marketing speciality from Bicester has now clarified that she had no idea the person that she fancied was married and swiftly cut things off when she found out the truth.

Speaking to several outlets at a recent press event, Chloe also pointed out that she doesn't go for married men and suggested that the remarks had been taken out of context.

"I was seeing someone for a while and I had no idea he was married, absolutely no idea. Someone at work was like "he's married with kids," and I was like "what the f***?" I ended it because I was like, "what the hell?" she explained.

She added: "I didn't know he was married. It's not like yeah, give me a married man. Absolutely not. I don't want a married man. I don't want a boy who fancies someone else."

Chloe was also shocked to learn that a girl on social media accused her of 'having an affair with her dad' while working as a PA.

Shortly after Chloe was announced as a contestant, a tweet was shared to Twitter that read: "Dad’s PA has gone on Love Island and admitted an affair. How’s your day?" alongside the video clip of Chloe.

Chloe also hit back at the claims and added that she had never even been a PA, saying: "I’ve actually never been a personal assistant. But that married man thing has been massively taken out of context."

Fascination surrounding Chloe's alleged interest in married men came after she revealed in her entry interview that she had been involved with taken men in the past.

She told the cameras: "You would really think there are some fit men in the city but there really aren't. Most of them are married or have girlfriends so they're off-limits ... they're not really off-limits.

"I'm partial to a married man," she adds, "I did meet someone at work, I thought it was love at first sight until my manager reminded me of his wife and kids. Doesn't mean I don't drunk call him most weekends.

"Any girl should be wary of her man, but definitely around me. It's always his fault," Chloe giggled.

Chloe is one of eleven sexy singletons that are heading to the Love Island villa in a matter of days. The much-anticipated new series will debut on Monday 28th June at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
