Love Island's Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran split after one year together

Love Island couple Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran have broken up, one year on from being runners up on the ITV2 show.

According to reports, Chloe, 27, jetted off to Morocco last week to escape her break-up with co-star Millie Court, who won the show with Liam Reardon before that couple also went their separate ways earlier this year.

Chloe and Toby, 23, are said to be still living together at their Essex home but are finalising arrangements to go their separate ways, writes The Mirror.

Despite giving the relationship everything, there was no turning things around. Chloe last month revealed her footballer boyfriend has already proposed to her - and she said no. "Chloe and Toby put everything into their relationship – but it just hasn't worked out between them," a source told MailOnline.

"There's been no wrongdoing, they have simply grown apart, and over time realised it's better for them both to split. Naturally, Chloe has found the breakup difficult but being able to spend time abroad with Millie has given her the space she needed to start moving on."

The lovebirds enjoyed a fun-filled trip to Disneyland Paris in August. Earlier this year, they shut down split rumours after speculation intensified that it was all over.

Chloe and Toby moved in together only three months after their time on the reality show. Last night, Chloe tweeted: "You know I f***ed off for a week to Morocco with Millie… yo all I had to say was I want to go and she did everything. Millie Court deserves the f***ing world."

She went on: "Took a break and f***ed off to Morocco and want to award Millie Court the award for being the best f***ing friend I've ever had." The couple, who recently celebrated their first anniversary, had hosted a Q&A on YouTube - and the subject of marriage was raised.

Responding to a fan, Chloe said: "He actually asked me and I said no." Toby explained: "You know why she said that, because I told the newspapers that if someone's gonna get married and someone's gonna propose then Chloe's getting down on one knee."
