Love Island's Chloe brands Toby as 'fake' as his 'true colours' show after public vote

Love Island babe Chloe Burrows risked her friendship with Kaz to pursue Toby last week.

But it looks as though the blonde beauty may be having seconds thoughts about her blossoming relationship with the Love Island hunk after the pair were voted as the ‘least compatible’ couple on the show alongside Brad and Lucinda, and Sharon and Hugo.

On Wednesday evening’s show, viewers will see the drama unfold between the new couple as Toby has a meltdown about being in the bottom three.

While they managed to escape being dumped from the island – as either Lucinda or Brad will pack their bags tonight – Toby can’t help but question his bond with Chloe as his eyes are opened to the viewer's perception of their relationship.

In a nail-biting clip from tonight’s upcoming episode, Toby tells Chloe that he’s lost all hope of them working due to the brutal result of the public vote.

The handsome reality star sits Chloe down to say: “We’re f***ed. We were down there.”

In response, a cool and collected Chloe tries to reason with Toby – insisting that ‘of course’ the public are not fans of them as a couple after they left Kaz single in the villa.

Chloe says: “Of course we are. Why are you surprised? Why are you taking it so personally?”

In the Beach Hut Toby opens up about his feelings further as he ponders why the public can’t see his ‘genuine connection’ with Chloe.

Toby complains: “In my eyes, we get on like a house on fire. If that’s not a genuine connection, then I don’t know what is. That means I’m searching for the wrong thing completely.

“I don’t know how the public hasn’t seen that.”

Meanwhile, Toby’s response to the bad news has Chloe questioning their future together.

During an intense conversation with her Love Island bestie, Chloe tells Mille that she thinks Toby is ‘so fake’.

The islander fumes: “He’s so f***ing fake.

“I was like, ‘Why are you surprised, the public isn’t going to love us because of what happened with Kaz’.

“But if it’s genuine, you don’t have to worry. The fact he’s getting all moody with me because we’re bottom three… that is so fake. I’m livid.”

“He’s made me really question his intentions and whether he was genuine.”

Will Toby and Chloe be able to work through their first hurdle as a couple? Or could heads be turned?
