Love Island's Ched Uzor made a huge claim in the latest episode of the ITV2 dating series, leaving partner Jess Gale stunned.
The couple paired up in Casa Amor last week, and they appear to be going from strength to strength.
Jess and Ched were almost dumped from the villa just days ago in a public vote shocker.
Four Islanders were ditched in the shake-up, including Nas Majeed, Rebecca Gormley and newcomers Jordan and Eva.
Jess and Ched were the third lowest voted couple, so would have been eliminated had they been in second place.
Ched reflected on this in the latest episode, before confessing he would have quit the show if Jess was chosen to leave.
As the pair cosied up on the sunbeds, he said: "I was standing there thinking, if they have to choose one girl to leave, or whatever, I'd be like I'm going with Jess.
"Know what I mean?"
Jess didn't though, responding: "Really? You would have thought that?"
Ched went on: "Yeah, what am I gonna do in here? Imagine waking up tomorrow and you're not here."
Jess said: "Wow that's true, it wouldn't be the same."
She went on to confess she was "happy" they were still on the show leading to a passionate smooch.
Viewers confessed they were slowly getting on board with the couple, as others found them "cringe".
One fan commented: "I think Jess and Ched are actually cute."
Another said: "Ched and Jess make me sick."
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2.
