Love Island twin Brett Staniland can at least rely on his brother, Scott, to give him some love and support after his partner Priya Gopaldas gave him the cold shoulder.
The 27-year-old was savagely dumped from the villa during Monday night’s episode – alongside 23-year-old Priya – after being voted the least compatible couple by fellow Islanders and after failing to secure votes from the viewing public.
Brett and Priya had faced the chop alongside Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish, Mary Befrod and Aaron Simpson, and Faye Winter and Teddy Soares – but due to low public votes to save, the bombshell pairing were ditched.
But they didn’t leave the island without one final spark of controversy – as Brett caused a stir for all the wrong reasons by wearing a socks and sandals combination to the dumping ceremony.

Many viewers watching at home took issue with his controversial style choice, with many saying the footwear left them with ‘the ick’.
One viewer tweeted: "brett's shoes were definitely reminiscent of the 90s jelly sandals.”
While another frustrated viewer tweeted: "I try so hard to have Brett’s back and then he wears shoes like that."

Brett can, at least, rely on his twin to have his back – as Scott took to Instagram Stories as the dumping episode of Love Island aired.
And the brown haired hunk – who is a model, just like his brother – showed that bad style choices run in the family.
Scott uploaded a photo of himself at home watching Love Island on TV – with his own socks and sandals adorned feet featuring in the shot that he uploaded online.
Adding a caption to the snap, Scott questioned: “Just me?”

Brett and Priya’s time on Love Island came to a quick end – less than a week after Brett arrived as a new bombshell.
The couple had initially got on well, but Priya eventually discovered there was no spark there.
She brutally confided in the other girls not he island that she felt it was "like holding hands with my dad" when Brett took her hand in his – and brutally told other islanders that she "had the ick" over the model.
Priya’s candid confession may well have sealed their fates, as the Islanders had to decide between them which of the couples had the least chemistry hours later.
Meanwhile, Brett’s hopes of pursuing his romance with Priya after his time on the show look like they are going to be dashed.
In his exit interview, he said: "I would love to keep getting to know her and date her properly, but equally I’d need a different dynamic. I’d need more from her, I need effort from her.

"I want her to plan stuff. Even just a simple thing like a run and coffee date. Just so it feels that reassurance that she also wants to be there and do stuff with me."
But Priya confessed: "I don’t think there is anything romantic there. But I know for certain there will be a friendship."
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub – episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
