Love Island's Brad McClelland poses for photo as he receives second Covid jab

Love Island star Brad McClelland received his second Covid jab in Northumberland this week.

The 26-year-old attended Coquet Medical Group practice, in Amble, for his Pfizer vaccination on Wednesday.

And he was happy to pose for a photo with Covid lead, Dr Ben Burville, during his visit to the practice.

Sharing the photo to their Facebook page, the practice posted: "It was great to see local celebrity Brad McClelland (pictured with Dr Ben Burville, our covid lead) at CMG today attending for his 2nd Pfizer vaccination."

Brad, from Amble, was renowned for putting his hometown on the map when joined the current series of ITV2 reality show Love Island on June 28.

He left the show on July 14 after the public voted himself and partner Lucinda as the least compatible couple in the Majorca villa.

As Covid cases continue to remain highest among younger people, Brad and the practice have been praised for sharing the photo in the hope that more young people come forward to get their vaccine.

One person commented: "Well done Brad McClelland and our amazing Dr burville who has been the main man throughout this awful time with his fantastic team at his side."

Another person added: "Well done him, showing a good example."
