Love Island bombshell Arabella Chi crashed into the ITV villa on Thursday and caused quite a stir.
As she said hello to all of the islanders, it didn't take Lucie long to recognise her, declaring that they had both dated 2018 Islander Charlie Frederick .
"You're my exes ex!," Lucie said as she welcomed the stunning newbie.
To which Arabella awkwardly commented back: "Well, not ex".
She then hugged her and added: 'There was no crossover was there?"
While some took the comment as a snub towards Charlie, suggesting she was denying they were ever really an item, others interpreted her remark in a very different way.
"Lucie: 'You're my ex's ex'. Arribella 'well not ex' - I'm sorry are you still together ? #LoveIsland (sic)," one follower wrote.
While another added: "Lucie: 'You're my ex's ex' Arabella: 'well..not ex' LOOOOOL they're still together #loveisland ".
The suspicion comes after Charlie dramatically claimed that he and Arabella were still an item when she was teased as a new islander.
Charlie claims Arabella lied about going off to do a modelling shoot, but turned up on the dating show instead.
Posing up on a beach, Charlie said he was heading home to "hide for a week".
"Wow Love Island you wanna have my f**king life any more?!!!" Charlie wrote on Instagram . "Both my exes in the villa f**king madness."
He added: "Right so this is all an absolute madness for me, finding out that a person I'm seeing/have a lot of feelings for, on a serious level has just strolled into the villa completely disregarding my feelings and our relationship or what we had, I feel like I have to air these screen shots because I feel like I've been completely mugged off.
"I'm truly gutted and cannot for the life of me figure out why she has done this," he wrote, before adding to camera: "Peace out, I need to go and hide for a week."
