Love Island's Anton forced to leave villa and will be missing from tonight's show

Love Island's Anton Danyluk has been forced to leave the villa due to sickness.

The Scottish star of the ITV2 reality show will therefore be missing from Wednesday night's episode.

He has since returned to the villa and will be back on screens from Thursday.

ITV said in a statement: "After feeling unwell during the day, Anton spent the night away from the villa and is subsequently missing from tonight’s episode.

"He has since returned to the villa."

Anton, 24, found himself at the centre of the drama over the weekend following a blazing row with partner Belle Hassan.

Tensions were high between the pair when Belle accused her love interest of making her feel 'mugged off' and 'embarrassed' after he chose to kiss fellow islander Anna Vakili during the shows game of 'Snog, Marry or Pie'.

But despite their brief falling-out, Anton and Belle could be in with a chance of winning the whole show - and the £50k prize - based on bookmakers odds.

They do face competition Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague are current favourites followed by new and unlikely coupling Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins.
