Love Island 2019 could have its first battle within hours of the new series hitting ITV2, as two male islanders take a liking to Lucie Donlan, aged 21.
The surfer finds herself being the object of both Anton Danyluk and Joe Garratt’s affections.
It’s not yet known who couples up with who, but it appears loyalties may already be tested.
Anton isn’t fazed by his competition either, as he takes his chances with Lucie having just seen Joe speaking with the stunner.
He scoops her off for a private chat, doing his best to convince Lucie he’s the guy for her.
It kicks off after the coupling with Caroline Flack, with all islanders paired up ahead of a launch twist.
As Lucie chills in the villa, Joe asks her for a private chat wanting to make his feelings known.
The conversation quickly moves towards her hobby, with her asking Joe: “Have you ever tried surfing?”
He responds: “I have never. I feel like I need to be taught.” Hint, hint.
But she awkwardly mishears him believing he said “tall”, clearly offending her to which he asks: “You can teach me! What was that?!”
The pair do clear the air after the mishap, with her even taking up his offer of teaching him, suggesting a trip down to her hometown of Newquay, on the coast of Cornwall.
But Anton puts a spanner in the works wanting her for himself, taking her for his own private chat at the fire pit, telling her: “My initial attraction was towards you.”
As Lucie shares her surprise he adds: “A million percent. I wanted to see if you’re attracted to me,” to which she confesses: “Yeah definitely. You walked in and we were all like ‘Oh my God, look at him’. You’re very good looking.”
So will Anton manage to steal Lucie from Joe, and who is she coupled up with? Viewers will have to tune in to find out!
Love Island launches Monday night at 9pm on ITV2.
