Former Love Island contestant Anton Danyluk has said that he no longer speaks to any cast members from his series and slammed the reality stars as being “up their a****”.
The 26-year-old from Airdrie appeared in the 2019 season alongside Amy Hart, Amber Gill, Callum Macleod, Michael Griffiths, Joe Garratt, Lucie Donlan, Yewande Biala, Sherif Lanre and Anna Vakili.
The personal trainer, coupled up with Amy, Amber, Elma and Lucie while in the villa, before coming fifth with makeup artist Belle Hassan just days before the final.
Despite spending over eight weeks in the villa with his fellow islanders, Anton said that he doesn’t speak to any of his former cast members any more and said they changed after finding fame, writes The Mirror.
“People come off the show, get their blue tick, get their million followers and go so far up their a**** it's unbelievable,” the 26-year-old star said on his CASA Spin podcast, which he co-hosts with Marty Guilfoyle and Tara Walsh.
“It's quite sad but at the same time I always appreciate the journey I had with the people in there. It don't matter what [happened] because it was unbelievable,” he added.

Anton said the only person he speaks to from his series is Anna Vakili, 31, after growing close to her since leaving the show.
“I only speak to Anna, that's it. Me and Anna are very close,” he shared.
He said his former co-stars have managed to “forget where they came from”, but looking back on his time in the villa, he admitted he couldn’t have lasted as long on the show without their friendship and support.
“The friendships are massive, they're really, really big in there. You think they're gonna last forever and they feel like (brothers) and sisters but obviously sometimes it just doesn't end up that way,” he sadly added.

The fifth series of the show was won by Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea, who scooped the £50,000 prize, but then split just weeks afterwards.
Anton and Belle lasted for two months outside the villa before splitting, but then briefly reunited, until they decided to call time on their long-distance relationship in December 2019.
“I came out of the villa and I went to my parents and did 75 different PA dates and I was up and down the country,” he told OK!.
“The turning point for me was when I was in Belle’s neck of the woods for an appearance, so I rang her up and said ‘Let’s go for food! I’m right on your doorstep.’ And she went ‘You won’t believe this, but I’m in Scotland.’ I just thought, ‘How is this meant to work?’
Anton is currently back living in Scotland for a few months to promote his new fitness book Anton Danyluk: 50 Steps to the Best Version of Yourself.
