The memes and GIFs are back in abundance and so were viewers' opinions as Love Island returned to our screens for a new series on Monday night.
The hit itv2 show has become nothing short of a TV phenomenon in the UK, meaning anticipation was sky high for its big comeback this week.
And, just like in previous years, fans of the show have not held back with their thoughts on this year's Love Island contestants.
was the subject of many memes and tweets, but there is one Islander who has already turned off plenty of viewers with his actions step forward Anton Danyluk.
At first the 24 year old Scottish gym owner seemed like a nice guy, deciding to couple up with Amy, but then came the snakey behaviour we all love to hate on Love Island , when he started to make a move on Lucie.
Seething fans of the show quickly flocked to social media to air their thoughts. Someone posted "can we start a gofundme for Anton’s flight back to Scotland," while Geordie Shore star Scotty T reacted "Snakes don't hiss they just go on Love Island and are called Anton."
And comparisons have been made between Anton and Newcastle's Adam Collard, who caused quite a stir in the villa last year.
Someone tweeted "Anton is just Adam Collard all over again," and another posted "Anton is Adam 2.0 without a doubt."
However, others feel the comparison was harsh on Adam. One viewer reacted "Anyone who even compares Anton to the king that is Adam Collard is a pure idiot," and, in agreement, another responded "Idc what anyone says Anton is btec Adam."
