Love Island's Anton comforts tearful Lucie then makes savage dig behind her back

Anton Danyluk comforts tearful Lucie Donlan on tonight's Love Island - then makes a savage dig behind her back.

Emotional Lucie is conflicted on whether to stay or go after Joe Garratt was booted out of the villa.

Revealing her frustrations at the other Islanders' votes, Lucie tells Maura Higgins: "To vote me and Joe least compatible...come off it. How are we so least compatible?"

Later on in the kitchen, Lucie gets a much-needed hug from pal Anton as she burst into tears.

She tells him: "I just don’t know what to do. I don’t know what to do now."

Anton insists that there is an obvious decision to be made and that Joe would have stayed if the shoe was on the other foot.

He tells Lucie: "You need to remember why you came here. You need to think what you came herefor. If you think Joe was the one, I don’t know what you feel, then you know what to do."

It seems like sound advice, but Anton speaks behind her back in the Beach Hut.

Snaky Anton says: "If the shoe was on the other foot and Joe was staying and Lucie was voted off I know for a fact Joe would have left."

The Scottish gym owner is gutted that he has lost his best friend and the girl he was coupled up with on the same night.

In the Beach Hut, he says: "I’ve been on a hell of a journey in here. I've not had it easy. I’m a big believer in good things come to those who wait."

The other girls, including former friend turned nemesis Amy Hart, are also quick to comfort Lucie after the dramatic dumping.

On the day beds, Amy says to Lucie" “We’ve all had our differences but situations like this make you realise that we all need to stick together. We’re going to support you.”

Molly-Mae says" “We’re all going to be there for you. You’re not alone. You’re going to be fine. You’ve got all these girls here and they do have your best interests at heart.”

Lucie decides that she will stay in the villa to enjoy the rest of her Love Island experience.

Reflecting in the Beach Hut, she says “I am finding it hard this morning. The girls have been really lovely to me, they’ve been really nice. I don’t normally take girls advice but I’m actually going to give it a chance.”

Will she find another man to couple up with?
