Love Island's Anna Vakili savagely compared to another TV star – and her sister agrees

Love Island 2019 star Anna Vakili was compared to a contestant on The Chase on Monday in a hilarious meme.

As the ITV dating show unveiled its first batch of Islanders, the so-called British Kardashian, 28, was subject to one of the many viral posts that begun circulating online.

Placing her side-by-side alongside a very unfortunate shot of a contestant from the Bradley Walsh fronted game-show, one Twitter user wrote: "Nice to see ITV recycling contestants from The Chase #LoveIsland".

And the meme soon did the rounds online, wracking up over 2000 'likes' and almost 300 retweets as it was posted on Twitter.

But it wasn't just members of the public who noticed the likeness, with Anna's sister Mandi even sharing the snap on her own Instagram page, alongside a string of laughing emojis, and the caption: "I am dead".

Pharmacist Anna is the line-up's first curvy contestant this year, after the ITV show promised more body diversity following backlash.

She joins a mix of sexy singles including Tyson Fury's brother Tommy and Strictly star AJ Pritchard's brother Curtis.

Curtis is also a ballroom dancer like his Strictly star brother and is one of the pros on the Irish version of the show, Dancing With The Stars Ireland.

The villa will also feature brainbox scientist Yewande Biala, 23, and beauty therapist Amber Gil, who's a friend of last year's contestant  Adam Collard  .

Speaking in her entrance VT, Anna says: "I think I’m different to anyone who has been on the show before. I have the whole glam look, I’m fun but at the same time I feel like I have more to me than that.

"I studied hard and I’ve got my masters. I’m a pharmacist and I have a Middle Eastern background...

"My best personality traits are that I’m very kind and emotional, I don’t like to see anyone hurt.

"I’m honest and I say it how it is to people and to their face. I’m affectionate, I love hugs and kisses, especially with a guy.

"But I’m difficult to handle, I’m a drama queen and I overreact."
