Love Island's Amy reunited with parents after being humiliated on show

The former star of Love Island Amy Hart has returned home for an emotional reunion with her friends and family after her dramatic exit from the show.

The former air stewardess quit the ITV programme after her split with Curtis Pritchard after his head was turned by Jourdan Riane who he tried to recouple with.

After admitting to Amy he didn't want to couple with her and unceremoniously dumped her, she ended up quitting the villa so she wouldn't have to see Curtis trying it on with her friend Maura.

But in another twist and turn, Curtis has now coupled up with the new girl Francesca.

In emotional scenes that will be appearing on Love Island Aftersun on Sunday night, Amy is reunited with her mum, dad, friends and family and can be seen hugging them.

Also on Sunday's show, former contestant Lucie Donlan will be meeting up with former islander Joe Garratt the pair go for a spot of racing.

The surfer girl, 21, was booted out last week but almost walked of her own accord, slamming "vicious bullies" in the villa who made her life hell.

She said they only changed their behaviour when they were told they looked bad on TV.

In an interview with  The Sun On Sunday,  she explained: "I did think about quitting.

"There was one night when I was really upset, because the girls had drilled it into Joe that I shouldn’t be spending all this time with Tommy.

"He came to talk to me about it but I was more upset by what they had done.

"After that, I didn’t really want to speak to them because I felt I couldn’t trust them...

"Those girls are not like me. They like drama. It was like being in a school playground. I felt really alone and I didn’t know who I could talk to.”

Let's hope her reunion with Joe goes well.

Aftersun airs on Sunday at 10pm on ITV2.
