Love Island ’s Amy Hart remains on lockdown from the outside world following her departure from the villa, with no access to her phone.
The star chose to bail from the villa yesterday after her “half-boyfriend” Curtis unceremoniously dumped her, leaving her heartbroken.
The 26-year-old’s shock exit makes her the fifth Islander to leave the show in just 24 hours.
Fans of the show have repeatedly expressed concern for Amy’s mental health, describing her as “fragile”, and last week she was removed from the house briefly to receive extra therapy from the show’s wellbeing team.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “It was Amy's decision to walk from the villa as she felt she had got as much as she could from the experience.
"She fell in love, had her heart broken and couldn't stand the thought of seeing Curtis crack on with other girls while under the same roof as her.”
However, her whereabouts now remain a mystery after her best friend confirmed that she had not yet been given her phone back by ITV bosses.
Hannah Stakim has been running Amy’s social media accounts, and has not heard from her BFF since she quit the show.
Speaking to HeatWorld, Hannah has admitted watching Amy’s heartbreak has been “tough” for her, adding: “It’s always hard seeing a friend that upset - and even harder when you can’t be there to console them.”
She went on to say: “I thought Curtis was perfect for Amy.”
