Love Island's Amy Hart says stars are refusing to have sex in the villa

Love Island star Amy Hart has revealed the contestants are refusing to have sex in the villa because they're too scared to have sex on TV.

The former air stewardess, 26, quit this week after her break with Curtis Pritchard left her devastated - and she's opened up about life on the show.

Despite admitting she did bits with Curtis while they were in bed together, they didn't have sex even though they had a night in the Hideaway together.

It's been the same for all the couples as no one has had sex yet even though we are little more than two weeks away from the final.

Amy has now confirmed that no one wants to get frisky in front of the cameras.

She told The Sun : "No one wants to have sex as it's a family show now.

"It used to be more niche but my 73-year-old nan and grandad are obsessed with it."

When asked if she regrets getting intimate with Curtis during their time together, she added: "I was laying in bed with a bloke I really fancied.

"I don't regret it. You forget the cameras are there."

She left the villa this week after a tough break-up (ITV)

It comes after Amy revealed she was so devastated by Curtis' brutal dumping that she lost weight and producers had to force-feed her.

She was seen announcing to her fellow Islanders earlier this week that she'd be leaving the villa.

She'd sat Curtis down and told him that neither of them could move on from their four-week romance if they remained under the same roof.

There have been less trips to the Hideaway this year (ITV)

After arriving home, she's revealed the true extent of her heartbreak.

Amy says she was so stressed by what was going on that she couldn't eat and lost six pounds in weight.

She says that bosses on the show had to step in and force her to eat after noticing she'd lost weight.
