Love Island's Amy Hart begs I'm A Celebrity bosses to stick her in the jungle

Love Island star Amy Hart has continued to prove her love for reality TV after admitting she really wants to go on I’m A Celebrity.

Speaking on Heart Dance Breakfast with Toby Anstis, Amy admitted that she would love to be invited for a stint in the jungle, especially as creepy crawlies don’t freak her out.

As Toby quizzed her on her aspirations around I’m A Celeb, Amy said: “I would love to. I’d absolutely love to.”

Describing her as “steely” and “confident”, Toby said he could see her being ok with the gruesome tasks and challenges that contestants are subjected to.

The 26-year-old replied: “I hate rats. I hate rats. That’s the only thing. Like I can deal with the Spiders and stuff, I can deal with all the creepy crawlies but it’s the rats. They put me in that coffin with rats.”

When asked if she would be fazed by the weird eating tasks, Amy said: “I’m sure if you were that hungry you’d do it.”

Toby joked and described Amy’s comments on the show as her “campaign” to get on the reality show.

She quipped: “Yeah get Aims in the jungle!”

Reports suggest that Amy is not the only ex-Love Islander to have their eye on a stint in the jungle.

Fans have allegedly started a petition to get Maura Higgins into the next series of the show, although they might be left waiting a while as the Irish grid girl gets to grips with her new role as the This Morning agony aunt.

Heart Dance Breakfast with Toby Anstis airs weekdays from 7am – 10am.
