Love Island's Amy Day 'fuming' as she tests positive for Covid after return from Majorca

Love Island's Amy Day is "fuming" after she tested positive for Covid-19 two weeks after getting dumped from the villa.

The actress - who hails from Surrey - has revealed she has been forced into isolation again after getting a positive test and has been asking fans for their tips and tricks to cure her quarantine boredom.

"Hi guys, I thought I'd quickly jump on here and address any questions on am I feeling better, do I have Covid? Yes I've just had a positive result for Covid," she told fans in an Instagram story.

"I'm fuming, but yes if anyone has any remedies or things to keep myself busy with during isolation, send those through.

"They'll be much appreciated. Obviously, I'll still be posting and I'll be on my phone so I can't complain, but I'll see you on the other side guys. Love you lots!"

Amy joined the cast of Love Island as one of the Casa Amor bombshells and coupled up with teacher Hugo Hammond.

However, things soon got frosty for the pair and Amy branded him "fake" after he admitted his search for love on the show was "tragic", all whilst he was being interviewed alongside her.

Whilst appearing on Love Island: After Sun recently, the brunette admitted she was "cracking" now she was away from Hugo.

She said: "I'm cracking now to be out and away from Hugo really."

Hugo - who was also appearing on the show - fumed back: "Amy's clearly got some opinion.

"But I think people are forgetting that Amy chose to stay in Tyler's bed on night one so she wasn't into me from the start and I felt like a green card to the villa."

"That is the first time you said that, how funny," she told him in a savage exchange.

But Hugo wasn't done there as he replied: ""I don't think it is because if the rest of that interview got played when we were sat down drinking that lovely apple juice then it would have been shown, wouldn't it?"

Amy slammed Hugo as "fake" - as she claimed he changed his mind on her after they left the show.

In the frosty reunion, she said: "I think we just need to clear up a few things, I feel like I had my time wasted a little bit, really.

"Sticking with you. I thought there was something there.

"Then we leave the villa, and it’s like you just flipped and friend-zoned me. You come across as quite fake now."
