Love Island's Amber sets her sights on Joe as recoupling fallout continues

It's not even been a full 48 hours and the drama is already beginning to stir in the Love Island villa.

And if you're super dedicated, this next bit of reading may contain spoilers ahead of Wednesday night's episode on ITV2 at 9pm.

In Tuesday night's bombshell episode, it was up to boxer Tommy Fury and professional dancer Curtis Pritchard to decide which single girl they wanted to 'couple up' with, despite a coupling already taking place during the launch.

Tommy pulled no punches (sorry, pun-intended) and chose Lucie Donlan even though she was happily partnered with sandwich company owner Joe Garrett and it's fair to say in tonight's preview he looked pretty devestated.

But it may not be all doom and gloom for the Islander as Amber Gill, who did have her eye on 20-year-old Tommy, may have spotted an opportunity.

The beauty therapist is seen admitting she was attracted to Joe and whilst Lucie enjoys her date with Tommy, wastes no time in getting to know Joe a little better.

Speaking on the day beds, Joe begins by saying: "Now I'm technically single."

Amber replies: "No, you are single. There are no two ways about it hun," before Joe asks: "If a couple of girls came in, would you sweat?"

To which Amber defiantly says: "No, I wouldn't sweat. I'm not like you!"

The conversation then turns towards another recoupling as Amber is currently partnered up with Welsh aircraft engineer Callum Macleod - but she's not really feeling it.

Amber says: "He [Callum] knows that nothing is there. It's not happening. I need someone with a bit more about them."

Then she makes her feelings towards Joe slightly clearer.

Speaking to both Anton and Joe, Amber says: "The stupidest thing I did was not step forward for him" referring to Joe.

We guess we'll see how it all unfolds when Love Island returns at 9pm.
