Love Island's Amber proves she's over Michael by snogging Greg under the duvet

The Amber Gill and Michael Griffiths saga in Love Island may finally be over as she kisses Greg O'Shea in Sunday's episode.

The beautician, 21, decided to couple up with the villa newbie on Friday after Michael, 27, conveniently decided her liked her again once Joanna had been dumped.

And despite the fireman vowing to crack on, Amber and Greg get close under the covers when the lights go down tonight.

Speaking with Anna, Francesca and Harley, Greg, 24, says he wants to take things slow with Amber and not put too much pressure on her.

But Anna is keen for her pal to get some action, saying: "She wants you to kiss her."

Greg reassures them, saying the kiss is "coming" and later goes to the beach hut to reveal how smug he is that Amber likes him.

He says: "It was nice to hear advice from Amber’s friends and I’ll take it onboard. It’s nice that everyone cares and everyone is backing me and Amber as a couple."

And when the Islanders head to bed Greg finally makes his move.

"I’ve been wanting to do this," he tells her.

The couple had kissed before as part of a challenge, but tonight's smooch is their first official kiss.

But bitter Michael is convinced his former flame's new romance won't work out.

Last night he took her aside to say that he didn't see a future for her with Greg , before putting his case as to why he is really her man.

Michael told Amber: "I am more out there person than he is... more feisty. fiery than he is. Whether you are personally built for the long run, I don't think so."

Amber accused him of 'making moves' on her just minutes after she had rejected her.

Michael denied this, saying: "I'm not making my moves, I am going to speak to you on a level and that we can be on a level."

*Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
