Love Island winner Amber Gill has expressed concern over whether Lucinda Strafford is "scared" of bombshell Danny Bibby after his intense confrontations with Aaron and demanding that she "not make him look like a mug".
New boy Danny, 25, shook things up in the villa by choosing Lucinda at the recoupling - despite Aaron showing interest in her ever since Brad left the villa.
Yet, despite it being merely being hours after meeting Lucinda, viewers were left concerned over Danny's possessiveness.
While Lucinda awkwardly rejected Aaron's advances, laughing off his efforts as she asked whether he was joking, Danny looked on fuming, later branding his love rival a “snake” in a heated chat with Jake Cornish.
Things later became serious on the daybeds, when Danny demanded to know where her head was at.
"I just don't want to waste my time if you're not feeling it," Danny told Lucinda, saying he would move on if she wasn't interested. "I don't want to look like a mug."
Speaking to Aaron later, Lucinda said: "I have told him I fancied him and I'm just trying to figure out what's going on."
The interaction raised eyebrows for Amber as she tweeted: "Is Lucinda scared??? #loveisland."
She also questioned Danny's intense reaction to Aaron, writing: "Does Danny know which show he is on??? Only 24 hours and you are moving precious. Good luck #loveisland."
Amber added: "Aaron tell that man you were there first STAND YOUR GROUND You stole MY girl stop with the fake outrage you had two conversations with her! #loveisland."
Fans agreed, with some suggesting that Danny's behaviour was a little concerning.
One tweeted: "Danny is deffo one of those toxic & possessive guys. I can see the red flags from a mile away."
While another commented: "I’m sorry but how does Lucinda not get red flags from that behaviour from Danny ??? Arguing and not letting the man talk, you’ve been there 24 hours. Sit the f*** down."
A third wrote: “Danny is giving me BIG red flags getting this wound up over a girl he’s known for 24 hours."
