Love Island's Amber Gill hits back at brutal online troll in the best way

Love Island winner Amber Gill has taken down an online troll in equally brutal fashion with a defiant response.

Gateshead girl Amber triumphed in the villa last summer, alongside Irish rugby player Greg O'Shea, after going through a turbulent time on the show thanks largely to Michael Griffiths' savage dumping of her half the way through.

But it was Amber that had the last laugh when she and Greg walked away with the £50,000 prize. And while they split just a few months later, the 22-year-old has done very well since, with her reported to have made a million within months of returning to the UK, thanks to a £1m deal with clothing brand Miss Pap.

So she had a great and very justified response to a troll, who one watching Love Island for the first time, tweeted: "i really wish i watched season 5 of love island while it was airing so i can pop my s*** cause i hateeee dis h** amber with a passion."

Responding in the best way possible, Amber replied: "I hate to be the one to break it to you but I win ."

Her reply was lapped up by her many Twitter followers. One posted: "And don't you eva forget that Amber Rose comes with thorns! A sweet savage!!" and another tweeted: "Not only did she win, but she won fairly and deservedly. Get the f outta here with your Chaldish behaviour. I Stan a Queen in Amber."
