Love Island's Amber Gill gives shocking reason for picking Michael Griffiths at recoupling

Amber Gill will leave Love Island fans bewildered tonight on Love Island as she gives her reason for picking Michael Griffiths at the recoupling.

In a shocking first look at tonight's episode, it looks like Amber will end up picking Michael over charming Irishman Greg O'Shea.

As she stands opposite Greg and Michael at the fire pit, she says: "It has been the hardest decision that I've had to make. I really don't know what the right thing to do is, it's hard.

"I've got one boy, we've had a history, we've had our ups and downs but I can't deny that there's a connection there."

Speaking about Greg, she says: "And then I've got another guy that's came in and put a smile back on my face when I've been miserable."

She concludes by saying: "So the boy I want to couple up with is..."

Earlier Michael and Amber are seen having an intense chat as he looks like he is about to lean in and kiss her.

"I can't make you do anything, if you want to get to know Greg I'll leave you alone," he tells her.

Amber replies: "So you would be upset if I picked him?"

"I can't be upset, if that's what you want to do," he replies.

There is a long pause as Amber looks down and Michael stares at her.

She glances up and asks him: "What?"

The phone then pings and he grins, shaking his head.

"I was going to do something and that text stopped me," he says.

"What?" she probes him.

He replies: "I'm not going to do it now."
