Love Island's Amber Gill debuts drastic new hair do and sends Instagram into meltdown

Love Island winner Amber Gill has sent her Instagram followers into meltdown with a drastic new hair do.

The Gateshead girl famous for her head of amazing curls debuted a VERY different look as she officially launched her clothing collection with Miss Pap at a huge party in London on Thursday night.

The Miss Pap deal is reported to be worth £1 million and revealing all, Amber said "I honestly cannot believe it!! Soooo excited to be a part of the fresh Miss Pap brand.

"It’s been a long anticipated announcement by me and I’ve been dying to tell you all.

"However I wanted to take my time in the design process so my collection is perfect, embodies my style and more importantly is inclusive for girls of all shapes and sizes.

"I cannot wait for you to see what I’ve been working on you know it’s going to be GOOOD."

A crowd made up of family, friends, fashion experts and of course Love Island stars attended the launch bash and saw Amber arrive looking almost unrecogniseable with darker, longer glossy waves replacing her trademark curls.

Uploading a picture of her new do to Instagram on Friday, Amber wrote "My launch look...Y’all wanted straight hair so bad...And guess what I’m gon give it to ya...The beginning of my hair journey"

Among the celebs to praise Amber on her radically different look were Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock who commented "Banging," while Tom Walker, who appeared alongside Amber on Love Island this year, posted "Amazing Amber! Smashing it."
