Love Island’s Amber faces tough decision but Ovie warns Michael will ‘shatter’ her heart

Love Island’s Amber Gill risks having her heart “shattered” if she goes back to Michael Griffiths tonight, best friend Ovie Soko has warned.

Amber will have to decide between rekindling her romance with Michael or giving new boy Greg O’Shea a go, during a shock recoupling ceremony on Friday’s episode.

While debating the tough choice, Ovie offers her his own two cents on the situation.

“Going back with Michael, your heart could get shattered again but you like him more than Greg, that's the reality,” he tells her.

“The connection you have with Michael is much stronger than the connection you have with Greg. And at the end of the day, to win big, you've got to bet big.”

Amber admits she feels overwhelmed by the decision: “I always know what to do and I always have a direct opinion. And tonight, it’s gone out the window.”

Amber and Michael shared a passionate kiss following the latest challenge, after the firefighter claimed he still had feelings for her.

Admitting he’d treated her badly by ditching her for Joanna Chimondes, Michael confessed: “I can only apologise about how I was over the past few weeks. “I was a bit of dick towards you.

"I don't want to admit the fact that I still like you.”

The girls on the island are sceptical about Michael's sincerity, and have urged their friend to choose Greg.

But ultimately, the final decision lies with Amber.

Someone’s heart will have to be broken.

Love Island continues tonight at 9 pm.
