She added that while she's in no pain now, the recovery process was a different story - but it's been worth it for her newfound confidence.

"Getting your ears pinned back is more common than you think," Amber continued, "When the anesthetic wears off, it was the worst pain of my life.

"It's worth it. I'm so much more confident."

Amber's career has gone from strength to strength since leaving the villa, even landing a role in Dolly Parton's West End musical 9 to 5.

But icon Dolly had a very specific piece of advice for Amber - swear of men for the sake of your career.

She told The Sun : "I always though I'd be settling down by now, but I went out to meet her and she warned me to avoid the temptation of romance for now and focus on my career.

"She said, 'Career first, men can wait for you', and it turns out she was completely right."
