Love Island’s Amber Davies ignores Dolly Parton and ‘falls in love’ with co-star

Love Island 's Amber Davies has revealed that she has ignored Dolly Parton's advice and is subsequently in a new relationship. The reality TV show winner and actress, 26, was talking to host Ranvir Singh on ITV 's Lorraine.

Amber got the chance to meet singer Dolly when she appeared in 9 to 5 the Musical. She told Ranvir that the country legend, 76, said that she "doesn't need a man". Despite this, Amber confirmed that she is now dating her Back To The Future co-star Ben Joyce.

Following recent speculation about the pair being romantically involved, Amber confirmed: “The plan was to be single for a while and then I accidentally fell in love with my co-star!”

Amber Davies confirmed her new relationship on ITV's Lorraine (ITV)

In the musical, Amber who plays Lorraine Bains - Ben’s character's (Marty McFly) mother in the West End musical - shared: “Do you know what it is… he’s just an absolute ray of sunshine and he’s so loved by everyone in the cast. He’s an absolute powerhouse of a talent… and he’s one of the kindest, most caring people I’ve ever met.” Ranvir then commented: “You’re glowing, you’re living your best life!”

Following her Love Island victory with ex Kem Cetinay in 2017, Amber has made numerous West End appearances. She has had roles in 9 to 5 the Musical, Back To The Future and Bring It On: The Musical. She has also appeared in several reality shows such as And They're Off! and All Together Now as well as documentaries such as Amber & Dolly: 9 to 5, When Reality TV Goes Horribly Wrong.
